Silverfin by Charlie Higson

Reviewed by Nathan Adam (Year 9) as part of the 50 Book Challenge

This is a story about when James Bond when he was a child.  James goes to Scotland to visit his uncle who used to be a World War 2 spy, he teaches James all kinds of skills including how to drive a car, which will come in handy later in the story.

James makes an enemy at a school competition, this was the part I liked the best because the enemy cheated at the competition but still lost.  This turns out to be a problem, because then the Dad of that enemy tries to kill him when James accidentally finds out about a secret project. There is heaps of action and it gets really exciting but the action takes ages to actually get going.

This is an awesome book, everyone should read it.
