Dan Carter by John Matheson

A tribute to the All Blacks perfect 10

Any book about rugby does well in the King's Library and this brand new one will be no different I expect.  This book follows the career of Dan Carter and contains interviews, lots of great photos (probably hard to take a bad photo of Mr Carter) and a wealth of information about the teams he has been in, his representation of the Canterbury district and his life as one of the most sought after players for appearances and his hopes and dreams for his career.

If you want statistics there are plenty at the back of the book and for those who like the inside information about the players, what they get up to in their spare time and how the media affect their lives this is the perfect book.

And while on the subject of Rugby and although the season has finished here at King's, here is the latest in safety videos from the rugby mad Air New Zealand team!

  1. Would you believe it, it looks like Dan visited one of our classrooms recently? Was it him, or was it one of the other All Blacks?
