Anne Frank Remembered by Miep Gies

Review by Hayden Phipps (Year 9) as part of the 50 Book Challenge

Miep Gies was the person who helped hide the Frank family from the Nazi's when they were hiding behind a bookcase in the Netherlands during the war.  She bought food and supplies to them and she also brought them news about what was happening outside, for two years. What I liked most about it was that Meip helped the Franks to hide, she was so kind.

This video was made at the time of Miep Gies death in January this year.

  1. Anne Frank Remembered stands out for several reasons. The documentary highlights the kindness of persons such as Miep Gies, how destructive Nazism was and how good ultimately triumphed over evil.
