Reveiwed by Nick Barth (Year 9) as part of the 50 Book Challenge

What is it about?
It's about a prophecy and how it comes true. A fawn Rannach, grows up with the prophecy coming true around him. He goes on a journey to find out about himself and the prophecy. He comes home to fight his enemy that drove him away from home.

What did you like most about it?
It's got adventure, action, mystery and fighting. It is a meaningful story.

What didn't I like?
It's got 1 or 2 boring bits, but other than that it was a lovely book.

Monster Blood Tattoo by D.M. Cornish

Reviewed by Ben Whitcombe (Year 9)
What is it about? Rossamund is a boy with a girls name, and he is a foundling living in a world of monsters. When you kill a monster you tattoo yourself with it's blood.

What did I like most about it? It was a fantasy.

What didn't I like?
There was only one chapter with where he was meant to go. It was weird. I waited all book for him to go lamplighting. I really didn't like the end.
